“We saw Ronda. Set on the mountain range like a natural extension of the landscape, and in the sunlight, it seemed to me to be the most beautiful city in the world.“ Juan Goytisolo.
Ronda is one of the oldest towns in Spain and the setting for many romantic legends about bandits and bullfighters.
It hangs over a deep canyon carved by the river and enjoys picturesque views that many monuments look out to.
The Celts, Phoenicians, Greek, Romans, Visigothics, Muslims and Christians have all left their imprint on this town.
We will visit the New Bridge, the Old Bridge, the bullring, the Arab baths, churches, palaces and we will walk around its streets and squares.
